This White Wedding cake is my very first wedding cake. It was for the couple for whom I made the Double Happiness engagement cake last summer. It is buttercream with real roses. I do very few buttercream cakes, so this was quite a stressful for me. I learned lots of new techniques, though, from getting the buttercream smooth, to using impression mats, to working with real flowers, to getting it to the wedding in one piece. The bride and groom were quite happy with the cake, so I got to enjoy the wedding.
